Many Community decisions require a majority or 2/3rds vote from eligible Homeowners. If a Homeowner is unable or unwilling to cast their vote directly, the Homeowner may submit this Proxy Voting Form to provide an alternate person/entity full voting rights on all matters on which the Homeowner is entitled to vote.
The Proxy Voting Form will remain valid and legally binding for the specified date range, until the Homeowner or Proxy Voter contacts the Board and requests the Proxy Voting Form be revoked. The Homeowner may specify a person's name (resident or otherwise) or Board position (i.e. “President”) to cast their vote during the specified date range. The Homeowner may also specify “Board Majority" as the Proxy Name, thus requiring the Board to cast a majority vote to determine the Homeowner's Proxy vote (i.e. 3 Board members vote YES, 2 Board members vote NO, the Proxy vote will be cast as YES).
Once approved, a copy of the Proxy Voting Form will be forwarded to the Homeowner and the Proxy Voter via email (or postal mail if email is not available).
